Privacy Policy

You can use The Reminder as a guest. Guest reminders, voice settings, saved places and appearance preferences are stored only in your browser on your device. They are not sent to our servers unless you use a feature described below (such as the AI assistant or enhanced voice).

If you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (handled by our authentication provider), or your basic Google profile details if you sign in with Google. Your account is used to sync your reminders across devices.

When you are signed in, your reminders sync to our cloud database, including titles, notes, dates, times, repeat settings, priority, category, medication details and history, and any place you attach. Each account can only access its own reminders.

Voice notes in the reminder form are converted to text by your browser's speech recognition; only the text is saved. The Reminder does not save audio recordings.

Photos you attach while signed in are stored in private cloud storage linked to your account and shown through temporary, expiring links. They are not public.

Location is requested only when you choose to use your position for a location reminder. Place searches are sent to Google Maps to return results. The places you pick are saved with your reminder.

When you use the AI assistant, live voice conversations, or enhanced spoken announcements, the text or audio of that request and relevant reminder details are sent through the Lovable AI Gateway to AI model providers (such as OpenAI and Google) to produce a response. Microphone access starts only when you press Start and stops when you end the conversation.

The AI can only suggest reminder changes; nothing is changed until you confirm on screen. Conversation transcripts are saved only if you turn that option on, and they stay on your device. To prevent abuse, we keep limited usage counters for AI requests.

Standard spoken reminders and dictation use your device's or browser's built-in speech features, which are governed by your browser or device provider.

Connecting Google Calendar is separate from signing in with Google. If you connect, Google handles consent through the Lovable connector service. A per-account connection credential is stored encrypted on our server; Google tokens are handled by that service, not stored on your device by The Reminder.

The connection check reads a limited calendar list through our server and the Lovable connector service. The Calendar screen also retrieves upcoming primary-calendar event titles and start/end dates through those services to display your schedule. These event details are not saved as synced reminders or sent to the AI assistant. You can disconnect in Calendar or Settings.

A short-lived connection attempt, linked to your account, verifies the returning Google authorization before we save a connection. It expires after 10 minutes, is removed during a later connection attempt or account deletion, and stores no Google authorization code or provider tokens.

The Reminder asks for microphone, camera/photos, location and notification permissions only when you use the related feature. You can change these at any time in your browser or device settings.

We rely on: Lovable Cloud (hosting, accounts, database and photo storage); Lovable AI Gateway with AI model providers including OpenAI and Google (assistant and voice); Google Maps (place search and maps); Google (Google sign-in and Google Calendar, if you use them). We do not sell your personal information.

Your synced reminders and photos are kept while your account exists. Deleting individual reminders removes them from your schedule; synced soft-deleted records and detached photos can remain until account deletion. Settings → Account → Delete Account permanently removes your authentication account, all synced reminders and account photos after confirmation.

Use the publicaccount deletion pageto request a secure email verification link if you cannot access your account. Deletion begins on final confirmation; each attempt is limited to 90 seconds, and incomplete cleanup requires retrying. Completion is only shown after successful deletion.

Earlier database copies may remain in Lovable Cloud’s documented daily recovery backups for up to roughly 14 days; storage photos are not included. Processing locks for incomplete account deletion remain only until deletion succeeds. Hosting, authentication and AI providers may retain service/security records under their own policies; exact provider periods for this app have not been verified. Account deletion does not erase provider records or your downloaded copies.

Guest data and on-device transcripts stay in your browser until you delete them or clear your browser storage. You can download a copy of your data in Settings using "Export my data". You can also emailibegbulemchuk01@gmail.comwith requests.

The Reminder may be used by people of all ages. Children should use The Reminder only with a parent or guardian's permission and supervision.

If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
